Marieli Pereira is a multidisciplinary artist and designer based in New York. She was born in Cuenca, a small city situated in the Andes Mountains of Ecuador.

She began painting alongside her mother at an early age, but discontinued this practice after her mother passed away. Many years later, she reconnected with this art form as a vehicle for healing and dealing with loss. Drawing most of her inspiration from nature and women, her work oscillates between the abstract and the figurative. Through building dreamlike worlds where beings bloom and transform, her art aims to portray the beauty of healing, mirroring her own life’s journey. Currently, she continues to explore, learn, and grow as an artist.
